The Trades Fair was hosted by Iowa Jobs for America's Graduates (iJAG) students; iJAG is a statewide nonprofit organization that delivers in-school career education and employer engagement in partnership with Iowa school districts.

Interested employers can register for next year by contacting Shawn Shea, Education Specialist at iJAG, via  sheasha@glenwoodschools.org.

Conditions for Learning Survey:

  • Glenwood Schools will implement the Conditions for Learning Survey in April.
  • Iowa public schools use this survey to improve safety, student engagement, and the overall learning environment so that all students have optimum conditions for learning.
  • Student participation is highly encouraged but no student is required to complete it.  Students may skip any question or stop taking the survey during administration.
  • Parent consent for students to participate is passive, meaning all students will be encouraged to participate unless parents or guardians sign a Written Refusal form indicating that their child(ren) should not participate in the survey.
  • Schools must notify parents and guardians at least two weeks prior to survey administration in the child’s school and be given the opportunity to review the survey.
  • To review the survey ahead of time, see these surveys: English  | Spanish

Art Students Recognized: Congratulations to Quinn Richardson and Abby BeVirt for being judged into the Youth Art Month Show held in Des Moines.  Congratulations to Maxi Abbott for being judged into the Governor's Art Show.  Maxi's art was shown in the Governor's Office for the Month of March, and she was able to meet Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg. The Youth Art Month Show is open to all students in Iowa, but students have to be judged into the show. Such a great group, this is the 11th GHS Governor's Show winner in 11 years! Congratulations Glenwood artists and Mr. Yoachim!
