Blood Drive:

RED ALERT! The Red Cross is facing an emergency blood and platelet shortage and needs our help to ensure hospital and patient blood needs are met as blood continues to be sent to hospitals faster than it is being donated and the blood supply is the lowest it has been since this time in 2015.

1) Sign up to give blood at the GHS blood drive on Monday, Dec 6th from 6:30-1 at rcblood.org/donate.  Search for our drive using “rams” in the search bar.

2) Ask a friend to join you.

3) Spread the word!

Outcome Retakes:

Retakes are available each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30.  Reteaching is normally done during class time, but could be available before or after school.  Please reach out to your student's teacher to verify.  The end of the semester is January 14.   Students have 20 school days to complete a retake from the time they receive feedback.  If a student misses this deadline they will be required to retake the outcome in summer school or retake the entire semester the following year.  Please make sure you are checking Powerschool or reaching out to each teacher with specific questions.

This email applies to those students taking an IWCC course.  Make sure you are prepared for this change, there doesn't seem to be any issue relating to your school chromebook as long as you can complete the multi factor login process.  The bottom line is you need to take action (see the attachments) on this now, not get to next week and wonder why you cannot connect.
