Homecoming 2023 is upon us! Be sure to visit our Homecoming Central page for a list of events taking place next week. It includes dress up days at all buildings, school events, and community related events.

Questions about the Nov. 7th bond vote for the GCSD? Attend our first community meeting at Northeast Elementary School on Sept. 14th at 6:00 PM! District and design team members will attend to discuss how the funds will be utilized and answer questions. We hope to see you there!
Work will begin again on the Keg Creek walking bridge starting tomorrow. It will still be safe to travel for students and staff. Work will cease while students/staff are crossing. We hope to have it completed before Homecoming.
We have students and staff who walk the bridge between the MS and HS, crossing Sivers Rd to get to the MS at the sports complex crosswalk. Please be alert and aware and slow down and stop for someone in the crosswalk. We appreciate your support in advance.

New Teachers right before the start of school! They were able to visit our facilities as well as meet with their mentors and the Glenwood Community Schools Foundation!
At the School Administrators of Iowa Conference at the beginning of the month, Dr. Chad Lang, Assistant Superintendent of School Improvement & HR for Glenwood CSD, was presented the award for Iowa Central Office Administrator of the Year!
Dr. Lang enters his fifth year as a central office administrator for Glenwood CSD.
"It's a great honor to accept this award on behalf of Glenwood CSD. Awards like these are not possible without great teams and organizations. We are blessed with some incredible administrators, teachers, and teacher leaders at Glenwood doing phenomenal work for the benefit of students. Awards like this are a reflection of the quality of collaboration and commitment to excellence for our students."
