Dear Parent and Student and Educator,

This weekly newsletter explains our multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) at the high school in the areas of Academics, Behavior, and Attendance.  To see the many ways we intervene to support the success of all students see our GHS Pyramid of Supports.

Below you will find some highlights of our Universal Tier I (core support) that all students receive:

Attendance

We utilize E-hall pass. Benefits of using an electronic hall pass include communication, organization, safety, and tracking advantages that old-fashioned paper passes don’t even come close to.

Behavior

We are a Capturing Kids’ Hearts School.  We share good things, check in on student needs, communicate the learning goal for the day and our expectations, empower students to take leadership roles in the classroom, and affirm positive behaviors.

Academics

During RAMS Time, students receive additional support for learning through the following options: (Reteach/Instruction, Office Hours/Extra Support, Structured Study Skills, Enrichment/Clubs, and Study Hall).
