Congratulations to our Youth Art Month winners, and Governors Show winners.
Youth Art Month is open to all middle school and high school students. Each teacher can send in up to ten works. Youth Art Month is held every year in march and this year's reception will be held Saturday March 29th in west Des Moines at the Jordan Creek Mall. The winners of the Governors Show will have a reception at the capital and meet the governor, schedule will be communicated later.

Students in Ms. Howard's ELA class read the novel Hatchet in class and then created "one pagers" of the novel when they were finished. The one pagers included diving into story elements like theme, central idea, text evidence and plot.
Ms. Howard's Rams Time students made snow globes and holiday ornaments during Rams Time before holiday break. Several students signed up to join all holiday craft sessions and were able to make several gifts for family members or friends.
