LUNCH MENU

Please congratulate the Glenwood Varsity Jazz Band on an amazing performance at yesterday's District Jazz Festival.  They took 2nd place in an extremely close contest and have qualified for the Iowa Jazz Championships.  This is the 4th consecutive time for many of the members and the 21st time in a row for Mr. Schoening.  This is an incredible accomplishment in any sport or activity and we couldn't be more proud of our jazz program.
There were a number of individual soloist awards given out for outstanding performances.  Julia Nightser - Alto Sax, Quinn Richardson - Tenor Sax, Nolan Clark - Keyboards, Brit Maxwell - Drums, Aubrey Mullanix - Trumpet, Mayer Buchanan - Trombone, Trent Marley - Trumpet and Julius Nash on Tenor Sax.
Outstanding sections were given out to the best section of the day in either class and our Trumpet section took home the award!  Trent Marley, Aubrey Mullanix, Evan Belt and Roman Glover.
Once again, congratulations to both high school bands and a huge thank you to the many workers who came in to help us host the festival yesterday.  We couldn't have done it without you!
