Congratulations to the Glenwood Color Guard
Congratulations to the Glenwood Color Guard for all of their hard work and dedication this season. Yesterday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines our guard competed in the Iowa State Solo and Team color guard championships.
The team put on an amazing show and won the highest ranking in glenwood history placing 2nd in State!!! Of over 100 solo entries Will Getter qualified as 1 of the top 10 in the semifinals at Nevada high school back in early November. He put on another incredible performance yesterday and was named the Class II (Biggest Class in Iowa) Solo State Champion which is another first for Glenwood!
Once again, congratulations to members: Emma Stephen, Adelynn Thiesen, Katelyn Harms, Kayla Christian, Peyton Hendrix, Liberty Whitley, Allie Neuhalen, Adalynn Madison Grace Berglund, Alyssa Liddick, Aubrey Clark, Audrey Albers, Kaitlyn Geeser, Abby Hiller, WIll Getter and Seniors Sydney Rohrberg and Carlie Clemmer. Coach Ashley Ellsworth!
I have appreciated your hard work, commitment and the sacrifices you made this season to stay dedicated to your team goals. Thanks for an amazing season!
