Welcome to West Elementary. West serves approximately 450 students in grades 3rd through 5th grade from the communities of Glenwood, Mineola, Pacific Junction, Silver City and the surrounding area.  With 36 classroom teachers, West has a 13 to 1 teacher to student ratio.  At West, we seek to be kind, responsible, respectful, and safe.

It is important that our students develop both academically and socially while at West.  Students take part in challenging curriculum in the core areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies.  However they also participate in Social Emotional Learning, Music, Art, and Physical Education.  In order to foster 21st Century Skills, students have access to 1:1 Chromebook devices to utilize for all of their academic coursework.
