Bond Issue- November 7th FAQ's Question 4: Are teachers currently having to spend their own money because of the state of the building to prepare their classrooms? Will the update be able to reduce that and maybe attract or help retain teachers?


The middle school TAG Robotics students are testing their robots with their programmed coding. They are all contributing to the design and explaining their plans in their engineering notebook. They are also planning out their competition game strategies.

Fundamentals of Agriculture students at the middle school are focusing on soil texture and soil structure analysis.

Mrs. Langille's 7th & 8th Grade talented and gifted students are engineering their robots to play the VEX Robotics Over Under competition game. They document their designs & test results in their teams. They are learning Python & Block coding to program their robots' movements

GCMS is proud to announce our October Featured Staff and our Rambassadors!
The Rambassadors for this month were nominated by teachers/staff because these students have modeled being Respectful, Accountable, Motivated and Successful continuously throughout their school days in the month of September. This group of students then collaborated with each other and selected teachers in which they want to feature for the month of October for all their hardwork and fun they bring to the classroom each and everyday! Congratulations to Mrs. Ruth, Ms. Peschel, Mr. Corcoran, Mrs. Hanson and all the 6th, 7th and 8th grade Rambassadors! Way to go!

Question 2: Why renovations of the Northeast over the Middle school or West?


The middle school’s creative writing class has been working on creating presentations this week. Students were paired up and were tasked with creating a presentation highlighting a genre of writing. Once completed with their presentations, students will share them with the class. Our next writing will require students to write a story in a new genre they normally wouldn’t write in!
