Last week, West Principal Kara Huisman and Northeast Principal Ashlie Salazar personally delivered the collected funds. 22nd Annual Breakfast with Santa Saturday, December 2nd 8:30-10:30 am

Mrs. Shamani Langille took 19 GCMS Talented and Gifted (TAG) students to compete in the Lynx Robotics Battle in the Bluffs at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. All GCMS teams competed in 16 qualification matches. Two teams went to the Quarterfinals. One team made it to the Semifinals! This was their first robotics tournament. They had an alliance with students from Iowa School for the Deaf, so communicated through a sign interpreter.
The students are excited to continue to work this robotics season. They continue to improve their coding skills, engineering notebooks, and strategies to help them improve their driving skills. They will employ the use of sensors for their upcoming tournaments in January.
Students overcame challenges in the tournament and had a lot of fun! It was a fun filled day for our students and families!

We are Hiring! Special Education Associates Level 2/3
