📣 Exciting News! Governor Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Education have announced over $3.6 million in competitive grants awarded to four Iowa Community Colleges through the state's career academy incentive fund that will directly impact Glenwood Community School District in the near future. 🎓💼
The Glenwood Community School District Innovation Center, which will be housed in the district’s new administrative/THRIVE building north of Glenwood High School, and through Iowa Western Community College is set to receive a $1 million grant to launch a cutting-edge innovative career center, providing five southwest Iowa school districts with access to career academies in cybersecurity, mass digital communications, industrial robotics, and precision agriculture. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and programming starting in the 2025-26 school year.

Students may shop during the following hours:
Wednesday, May 15th: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm - This is an Early Out but students will still be able to shop after school.
Thursday, May 16th: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm - Stop in during 5th grade band meet & greet.
Friday, May 17th: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm - This is the last day to shop at the book fair and before SUMMER BREAK starts!!
You may send cash, a check made out to Glenwood Middle School, or set up an eWallet so your student may shop during school hours.
