Bond Update
On Monday night, July 22nd, the Glenwood CSD Board of Directors convened to discuss the planned general obligation bond intended for a public vote this November. During the session, the board carefully reviewed district needs and public feedback. Discussions included assessments of timing, costs, tax impacts, and the broader effects on our students, district, and community.
After thorough discussion and reflection, the Board of Directors has decided to postpone the bond vote for the time being. This decision was not reached lightly; however, the board has been attentive to community input and believes it is important to take this opportunity to reflect, reset, and refine our approach to meet the future needs of the district.
As a district, we value everyone's support for our school district. Looking ahead, we are eager to continue working together to effectively meet the needs of our students, families, and community.
