On September 28th, the Northeast preschool team hosted a family night at the park. Approximately 60 families attended the event which included a dinner and time for families to get to know each other and the teaching staff. It was a great time for everyone!

Thank you to the Glenwood Fire Department for coming out to the Elementary schools last week for Fire Safety Week! The students got to see the different equipment the firefighters use as well as learn how to stay safe and what to do if there is a fire.

Mrs. Henderson allows her students to choose a math center connected to our outcomes. While students pick a game they also identify a shape and color. Learning at every step!

Mrs. Peter's first graders learn about day and night. The flashlight represents the sun and Mrs. Peters demonstrates the Earth's rotation with the globe. A teachable moment captured through reading!
