The Glenwood School Counseling team attended the Iowa School Counselor Association's annual conference in Des Moines. The conference provides opportunities to collaborate with counselors across the state of Iowa, professional development in mental health, career, academic, social, and emotional development. This year's theme was 'Rooted in Resilience', which aligns with the counseling work they do with students and families.

Maggie Begbie, a 2021 Glenwood Graduate came into the Agriculture classes at middle school and high school buildings to showcase her internships and involvement in the agriculture industry as she pursues an Ag degree at Northwest Missouri State University. Providing experiences for students to learn about agriculture outside of our state is an amazing opportunity. Maggie showcased working on a bison ranch in Wyoming and about cryogenics in Michigan as well as learning about processing of meats in Kansas City. She had some artifacts to share with students.
