Principal's Corner October

Friday, October 7, 2022

A note from  Mrs. Salazar and Mrs. McMullen:

Dear Families,

Fall is upon us and with that comes the excitement of our Fall Party. The class parties will be held Oct. 31st at 2:00 starting with a parade. Parents are welcome and invited to join us for our Fall celebration. As friendly reminder, no class-wide snacks can be sent for the party, unless they are ordered from school food service. Students will be able to bring costumes to school to wear during the parade and party.

Students finished up their Fall FAST Screeners and teachers have started using out RAM time (reading and math intervention block) to make sure our students are getting instruction based on their individual needs. We continue to see the hallways and classrooms full of Ram Role Models! Please reach out anytime with questions or concerns.

A few things to remember:

  • If you do not have a preschool student and/or are not waiting for the shuttle from West to bring a student, use Vine St. for pick-up. Vine St. pick up begins at 3:00. The Vine St. crew has the process running safe and efficient.
  • When dropping off or picking up on Vine St. it is important that you stay in the vehicle. This helps keep the line moving smoothly.
  • Teachers will contact you to schedule your conference using a digital scheduling system.
  • Book Fair will be open during the week of October 20th-27th with parent shopping available during conference nights.

Important Dates:

  • Early Outs: Oct. 5th, Oct. 19th
