Level I: To be administered by the teacher.
Level I offenses are those activities which are classroom specific and not included in other areas of this code. The teacher may pursue the following options: Verbal reprimand, detention, parent contact, conference, or other interventions. The West Elementary IBI Classroom Expectations will be used in handling Level I offenses:
Examples of Level I offenses include: A. Talking out B. Unprepared for class C. Cheating – See Description page 16 D. Violations of classroom rules E. Tardiness F. Insubordination G. Poor Grooming, inappropriate attire, Health Concerns
A student’s failure to abide by the teacher’s re-teaching of expectations may become a Level II offense. |
