Cartridge Collection - We are now collecting inkjet and toner cartridges for recycling. We receive $3.00 for each cartridge deposited in our collection bins located by the Northeast office. Please check at work and at home for these empty cartridges. In addition to raising money for our school, recycling inkjet cartridges has a positive effect on our environment. Consider this: Each day 1 million cartridges are simply thrown away into a landfill. It takes 1000 years for them to decompose! Less than 5% of the cartridges produced are recycled. Our last recycling collection netted our school $120.00. |
