State Soccer Tournament
The STATE has switched the times for the boys soccer districts for the 15th. Glenwood will now be playing the 5:00 match instead of the 7:00 match.
Seniors
Do you think that your are more than just a test score? Do you think that is all the colleges look at?
The normal process in looking for a college requires the student to sent off information to prospective colleges and waiting for an acceptance or refusal notification. In a twist on the old college recruitment process, a web site called Zinch allows high school students to post their academic and reference information into a database that college admissions directors can search to find students that will fit well with the college. Sounds easy enough, and it is. As a matter of fact, its a "zinch" to use.
Girls Soccer Change
The girls soccer match scheduled on May 6th has been moved to May 13th. JV will play at 4:30pm with the Varsity to follow.
Girls Junior Varsity Soccer vs. St. Albert in Glenwood on May 10th @ 11:00am.

The Glenwood Community School District is participating in Iowa School Alerts.
Iowa School Alerts allows you to sign up and receive notifications when a school or school district closes, has a delayed start or an early dismissal. There are two ways to receive notifications:
- E-mail alerts - Receive e-mail notices when a school or school district you are interested in delays starting or closes early. With Iowa School Alerts you can have notifications sent to as many e-mail addresses or e-mail-enabled device addresses as you would like, for as many schools or districts as you like.
- RSS Feed - Iowa School Alerts provides a Rich Site Summary (RSS) feed for websites that wish to give their site users a comprehensive list of notifications. This is a great way for the media, communities and school-related organizations to publish notifications on their own website.
