Try outs for the Fall play, “The Crucible” are tonightfrom 3:30 to 6:00.  Students need to be prepared to read from the script and act out short scenes for the try outs.  All students are welcome.  See Mr. Crouch for more details.  If you are unable to make the play tryouts after school tonight please see Mr. Crouch during seminar.

VB triangular here tonight night will be hurricane night.  Pack your umbrellas and raincoats and boots.  Any water gear is acceptable within dress code. 

Gamers: There will be an important meeting in Ms. Forman’s room on today after school.  Anyone interested in being a part of the gamers club should attend this meeting.

Reach/SADD!!!  For any of you who want to be a part of Reach/SADD this year, our first meeting is tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the Library.  See you there!!

Reminder to band seniors: get your senior night info emailed to Mrs. Henze by tomorrow or you will not be in the program.

Any person interested in joining FFA need to pay Ms. Christiansen their dues by Friday.

FCCLA members—Applications for fall rally and the St. Louis cluster meeting can be picked up now.  $15 dues are also due.

Reminder: there is no school on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Past Announcements

9/1
Art Club will meet right after school today in the art room.  Have homecoming ideas ready to go.

Attention 10th-12th graders… the 6th Grade Science Camp will be held Sept 20th & 21st, and Sept 23rd  & 24th…applications available in the Counseling Center.

Band t-shirts are in. Please bring $9 to Mr. Jacobus ASAP.

There will be a SHORT key club meeting after school for those who were unable to attend this morning.

Reminder to students:  if you walk to and from school make sure to be aware of your surroundings and if possible walk with a friend.

XC meet has been switched up tonight due to possible weather complications.  The schedule will be as follows.
4:30           Varsity Boys
5:00           Varsity Girls
5:30           JV Boys
6:00           JV Girls
6:30           MS Boys
7:00           MS Girls

There will be a Key Club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Sowers room.  All students are welcome.   If you are unable to attend but would like to join…see Mrs. Sowers today.

Iowa Western will be here 4th hour to hand out books.

BXC will meet in the cafeteria after school today.

Seniors can sign up for a senior shirt in the office thru Friday.  Cost will be determined depending on how many sign up.

Cheerleaders will be dismissed today after 7th hour.
FB players will be excused today at 2:45.

Reach/SADD members!!!  Your help is needed this weekend at Keg Creek Days!!!  If you would like to help with face painting at the park, sign up for the time and day that works best for you.  The sign up form is on Mrs. Loeffelbein’s door!!!!  Anyone interested in joining Reach/SADD this year is welcome to participate!!!
WANTED: One Freshman student to work on the blood drive coordinating committee. Pick up an application from Mr. Schmidt in room B126

All students must have a technology form into the library before you can log on to a computer.  Please check the list outside the library or with your teachers.

Try out for the fall play will be next Tuesday  from 3:30 to 7:00 and Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00.  Scripts are still available from Mr. Crouch.

Teachers:  a reminder at this time to hand out the ID cards to the students.  If you have any students that did not get one please email their names to Jody in the office.  We will be calling them down at a later date to get their picture taken and ID cards made.

Fall baseball sign ups will be tonight at 6:30 on the baseball diamond.  Cost is $162 made out to UBA.
